Are mormon women allowed to have jobs because I am currently in love with a lds member and i am thinking of converting to become a Mormon , but I have a job can I still have one even if I convert?

1. Women and working
The short answer is yes. There is no commandments about women not working. Lots and lots of mormon women work. But you will see in the church that there is a very definite emphasis that families and children have supreme importance. Once there are children in the home there is great expectations that they have highest priority and that we as families should do everything we can to provide the love, attention, and nurture they need. 
 
But yes - there is a significant percentage of mormon women who work.
