1. D&C and PoGP
The Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price are two volumes of scripture that are held as sacred by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Doctrine and Covenants is a volume of modern revelations received through the living Prophets. It contains council, guidance, and warnings for the world in these Latter-days. It is the written record of the revelations the Prophet Joseph Smith received as well his successors in the Presidency of the Church. The book is mostly revelations received by the Prophet Joseph Smith with 5 sections coming from other President's of the Church. The last addition to the D&C was in 1978 when President Kimball received the revelation that is canonized as Official Declaration 2 which extended the Priesthood to all worthy males. For something to be canonized into the D&C it must be declared a revelation from God by the unanimous decision of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and sustained by the Membership of the Church in General Conference.

The Pearl of Great Price

This record of scripture contains the Book of Moses, The Book of Abraham, a section from the Jospeh Smith Translation of Matthew, as well as the Early History of Joseph Smith and the foundation of the Church.

Book of Moses, is an excerpt from the Book of Moses which was received during the inspired translation of the Holy Bible. It contains additional information that was previously lost for thousands of years about the pre-existence, the creation, and the fall of man.

The Book of Abraham, is a translation from ancient papyrus that Prophet was able to purchase from an explorer. The Prophet translated this papyrus through the power of God and it contains more information about Abraham, the priesthood, and the creation as well.

JST Matthew, is a selected chapter from Matthew (part of 23 and all of 24) that was translated from the KJV Bible by the Prophet, like the JST excerpts that are found in the footnotes of any LDS edition of the KJV Bible, this is a translation to restore plain and precious truths to the Holy Bible that have been lost through centuries of translations and re-translations.

JS History, the early history of the Prophet and how he was called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ to the Earth.
