1. Good question!
The Ensign, Bible, and Book of Mormon are equally important. The Bible and Book of Mormon are he inspired writings of the Ancient Prophets and Apostlesthe Ensign contains the inspired writings of the living prophet and the Apostles.  
 
Any new teachings must comply with scriptures unless it is a revelation (which is rare). Buy all scriptures are equally important since they all give the will of God to mankind we need them all to find truth. One or two of them alone is insufficent to bring a fullness to our souls.
