Expectations: Non-Mormon dating a Mormon

I, being not religious at all, really like this Mormon guy who is 17, going to turn 18 soon. He really likes me too. We will probably start dating soon. He's completely ok with it all, although he's a very devout Mormon. What will it be like dating him? What will he expect of me? What should I expect of him? What will his parents think of me? Will it be relatively the same as dating anyone else, or are there special rules he must follow?

1. Courtship

LDS members follow the Law of Chastity and see dating as a search for an eternal spouse. Also realize that within the next year he is going to be leaving on a two year mission. During those two years your only contact will be by letters since he is dedicating his life to serving Jesus Christ.
