Hey! I need help from all you folks of the good ol' LDS! I was wandering if you could help me with a little problema? Is it true? I mean is it truly true? That our holy savior Jesus Christ will return and reign hellfire upon our world? So many rumors, so many. My entire neighborhood is locked up in their houses hiding, turning off all connections to the outside. I, I alone have decided to tread outside and communicate with a trusted source. Will you, help me and understand why such a holy, beautiful man, and I mean that from all of my heart, would strike upon our world and destroy, and enslave us? I thought, only a spawn of a demon could hold so much potential of evil. Why strike upon us, his brothers, his sisters, why? God forgive me, but why our savior kill us? We have been hiding for three days now, and tomorrow would mark the day of birth, birth of demon spawn. Why would this happen?

1. The wicked shall be destroyed.
The scriptures are very very clear on the matter. When Christ does return, not today of course, he will destroy the wicked.

The reason is simple, by being wicked and sinful we reject Christ and he cannot spare the just and righteous punishment for sin from those that refuse to repent and forsake there sin and come unto the salvation of the Atonement.

The great news is that all will not suffer endless punishment as other faiths preach!

2. The wicked will be destroyed
The scriptures are very clear on this fact. And I think LDS Guy 1986 answered this very well. I just wanted to point out something I have come to know. God is going to give us all a lot of chances to repent and not be included in those who will be destroyed. In the allegory of the olive tree the keeper of the grove (God) asks his servant to try many different things before the bad tree limbs are burned. I know that if you are truly trying to be better each day you won't be burned with the wicked
