Hello. I am a married women of only 3 months; my husband have been dating more than 3 years.. anyways... I get so confused by him... one day, he and I will be on the same page, and we will be working towards our goal (which is the temple and to be better in the gospel) and the next we are fightning because he wants to go hang out. He does not realize that he asks this question, almost every other day. I though that husbands are suppose to be there for their family!? but it seems like he is more focused on hhanging out, then building his family. I dont know what to do. Sometimes I feel like just giving up, so I just need advice... what should I do???

1. Lost in Marriage
Marriage is not a perfect union, there is great days, good days, so-so days, and terrible days.

The only advice I can give is to love each other and strive to come closer to God. As our proclamation called The Family States "Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities."

As newlywed myself I can tell you that once the novelty of marriage wears off there is a lot of adjusting needed to become used to living with another person 24/7 for time and eternity.

The best thing to help out is to love your husband and be patient like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is.

In time everything will work out in the way God desires it to if we follow the examples of his Only Begotten Son!

I am sorry to hear of your difficulties and will remember you in our prayers!

Keep the faith and love the Lord Sister!
