I'm a 19 year old Catholic girl (we don't really practice the religion though) and I really like a 17 year old Mormon boy. My mom has said that we can't have a relationship because I'm 2 years older than him, I'm in college, and because he's Mormon. We both really like each other though. Is there any way I can convince my parents to let us date?

1. Time will tell
I guess it all depends on how strongly your parents feel about those things. Within a year or two - the first two items will probably lessen in importance in your parents eyes I'm guessing. The last one - him being a Mormon - is highly dependent on each person. Some parents are ok with mixing religions. Others are not.

Time and developing trust with your parents is probably your best options.

Good luck
