I would urge your daughter to stick to the guidance of the prophet. I have had similar dating experience, and I make a point to communicate that the dating standards and procedures are different than the social norm. Urge her to date only those who have high standards, and to remember to have FUN. Romance does not belong in the high school setting. If he follow the prophet's counsel, no matter what happens, everything will be okay. The Lord says that he will not allow the prophet to lead his people astray. It doesn't mean that such a course will be without bumps in the road, but that you will be protected. Urge her to be open about her beliefs and to pray before dates to have the spirit with them. I have done this and have had a very happy dating experience that has brought me new friends and made people aware of the gospel.

hi, im an LDS teen. i am 16 years old, and just starting to to think about dating. my advice would be to have her wait until she was 16, and to only date one person at a time. it really isnt good for image. i still havnt gone on my first date yet because i havnt found the rite girl, but we will all find the right person in time.
