What is the difference between hot coffee and hot tea, and other hot drinks? Why exactly is it wrong to drink a hot drink?

11. Hot drinks
Organic tea is fine. There is none of that stuff you would find in regular teas. It's all natural. Plus, there are some herbal remedies that require the drinking of tea. I don't think it would be wrong for a mormon to drink an herbal tea for a remedy. I heard of one mormon women who drank raspberry tea during her pregnancy to make the pregnancy easier on her. Raspberry tea is also good for problems women have with periods. I had a problem with excessive bleeding during my monthly periods. I took the raspberry tea and the problem went away.

I'm confused. If hot drinks are bad, what about soup?
