As the old saying goes idle hands make the devils work. LDS youth are building character and strength to help resists the worldly influences that surround them 24/7.  
 
There events help them say busy as well as builds there testimony and a strong moral character. I do not think there is any other way that the Lord could preserve the righteousness of the current youth. They are under attack more fiercely and at younger ages. I thank the Lord for all the programs the Church has to help teach and develop the youth into model found men and women.
