Hello. I am curious as to what relationship is allowed by LDS's when a adult converts to becomming a Morman but his family and friends remain non-Mormans. Does the Morman church require that he shuns his family or friends who are non-Mormans or may he continue his life long relationship with siblings, nephews, long time friends, etc. who have their own strong non-Morman religious beliefs? And if he is allowed to continue these relationships does this mean it's ok to socialize with these non-Mormans (i.e. watching football games, going to movies together, etc. etc.). Thank you for any time which you spend in answering this question.
