Of course we are a break of of Judaism all Christians are Jews at heart. Christ was a Jew, he came to restore the truth to the Jews and only after his death did the Gospel get preached to the Gentiles.  
 
Look at the Holy Bible it is comprised of the Old and New Testament, and the Old Testament is over double the size of the New. The Old Testament is the Jewish Torah.  
 
The Church of Christ set up by Christ and governed by his Apostles was made up of Jews. All the Apostles were Jews, it wasn't until Christ commanded the Gospel be taken to the Gentile that non Jewish people started converting. 
 
We believe that our Church is the restored Church of Jesus Christ that was lost due to the deaths of the ordained leadership the Apostles.  
 
We consider ourselves "adopted" into the Abrahamic Covenant and members of one of the 12 tribes of Israel. We are revealed our tribal lineage during a special blessing called a Patriarchal Blessing.  
 
So yes we are "adopted" Jews, I don't know if break off is the right word though because we believe we are the true church restored not a break away from the truth.
