As a current church member (and recent convert) I've been through a lot in my past that was not good and incredibly sinful, but have felt very strongly about my faith and love my relationship with Heavenly Father. However, as a reminder for myself to always Choose The Right and show others who I am, I have considered getting a small CTR shield tattooed on my right shoulder. If I were, what would the repercussions be?

1. Tattoos
Church members are not suppose to get tattoos (even CTR tattoos) it is considered disrespectful to the temple that is our body.

Here is one of many Q&A's about this issue from the Ensign.
