Is it true that a woman must be sealed to a man in order to go to heaven? I am a little confused on this one and could possibly be misinformed. Thanks.

1. Exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom
You are correct and incorrect so I will explain in great detail. To obtain the highest glory in the Celestial Kingdom (aka Heaven) called exaltation where one inherits all the power and glory of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ a woman has to be sealed to her husband.

On the flip side though a man also has to be sealed to his wife, the ordinance of Eternal Marriage or sealing to one's spouse is required for exaltation.

There will being single men and women though in the Celestial Kingdom as well though, they do not get the glory and power of exaltation but they are the ministering angels to the eternal families and heavenly father.

Those who receive this are those who were baptized and confirmed and even had there temple work done but never was married in this life or the spirit world. They choose to be without a fullness of joy and exaltation. They choose to serve in the Celestial Kingdom as the ministering angels.

2. women going to heaven
Thank you for the response. I understand now. What if someone really wanted to meet someone and be sealed in the temple? They actively tried to find someone but for numerous reasons they never did? I am just curious because sometimes things do not work out the way that one would want them to. I just don't see why that should keep one from receiving all that God has to offer even when they have followed the gospel and lived their life in accordance.

3. Singles
Even if someone is single and looking all of there days on this planet (or never lived long enough to marry in this life) all the blessing of exaltation are still available for them in the spirit world.

Only people who choose to remain unmarried all the way through the day of judgement will remain single. There is a spouse for everyone even if they do no find that spouse in this lifetime.

The only way someone would not find a spouse and be married is if they actively choose to remain single forever.

4. no title
So what if a person had been married and then divorced, but later converted to Mormonism and lived according to all the covenants, could this person enter into the celestial place?
