How can I attend a Mormon Church Service? PDF Print E-mail

I have been wanting to attend an LDS service. I am married with one son but I would rather attend by myself and make my decision that way. I find I believe in the religion but am not ready to convert yet.


Do I just attend a Sunday service? Do I need to ask for permission?

All you need to do is show up. We welcome all those who want to learn more. It is perhaps a good idea, however, to talk to the missionaries in your area first, and they will help you become more acquainted with our faith.

we welcome everyone! if u would like you could just show up and go in and sit down, but it would also be smart to contact the missionaries. they will help you a lot with that kind of thing.(thats what they're there for!)  
 
oh, and also, we usually like to look our best when we attend church. (aka, girls wear skirts, and boys wear white shirts and ties.)

3. Attending LDS services
Attending LDS (aka Mormon) services is very easy. You can just show up at one of the services on Sundays. To find the nearest building/congregation closest to where you live and the meeting times just use this link: https://maps.lds.org/
