Comment in question it's cool In the gospel we are asked to love everyone and be kind to everyone regardless of race, gender, or creed. We believe in letting people worship whatever they want, or not worshiping at all. However, I would like to make a distinction. Although we believe the LDS doctrine and teachings are perfect, that does notmean we as human beings are perfect. I live in a predominately mormon community, and I have to say, it really depends. Although the gospel teaches to be kind to everyone, not everyone lives up to it. We're imperfect. I have witnessed people try to shove the LDS religion on people, or stop being friends with someone because they didn't get baptized into the church. These occurrences are rare and do not reflect our actual doctrine, so don't take it as a mormon attribute, but rather just as the individual himself. I've never seen any problems with the hiring. My dad who is LDS has hired only one other mormon to work for him. Guest 06-27-2010 22:57 |
