Comment in question Is God a man? No - not in the sense I think you are asking. God is God. He is our Heavenly Father. He is perfect, exalted, eternal, all-knowing and all powerful. He knows and loves us - all of His children - with a perfect love. He loves you. He loves me. God is Our loving Heavenly Father We do not believe that He is some amorphous entity. He is a real, exalted being with a distinct physical, perfected body. He is separate and distinct from Jesus Christ and from the Holy Ghost. Doctrine & Covenants 130:22 - The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. Link Registered 02-23-2010 17:53 |
