Comment in question guest As a non-LDS person I am natutally confused(but interested) in the hot drinks discussion. Many LDS people I have spoken with have made the comments that one must be prudent and health-conscious about what goes into them. This is how they handle the hot drinks prohibition. But my LDS people seem to consume plenty of red meat, fatty butter, and other fat-filled items which are clearly--by any standard--far worse for the body that a cup of coffee. How does this work?
