Comment in question TO ROY/ANYONE I was baptized and converted (didn\'t grow up mormon)in November 2000 because I was interested in finding the \"right kind of religion/church\". Basically, I tried different churches and/or religions and none of them felt right for me and my son. It\'s not an \"easy religion\", and by that I mean the things that I gave up and the ridicule that I face. I still question my decision to practice Mormonism but, I know that I have found my \"happy place\" in this world of many religions. Besides, this life isn\'t supposed to be easy, just worth it. Being a 30-year-old, single, divorced, mother of a little boy in this family oriented church is very challenging. Though, I\'m glad to be a member and have such positive male role models for my son. I also love that this a 24/7 religion, not a \"I went to church on Sunday, so I\'ve done my duty to GOD and now the rest of the week I can do whatever I want and ask for forgiveness next Sunday\" religion. I\'m not writing this to degrade any other religion, this is how I feel based on my personal experiences. In a nut shell, Jesus and Heavenly Father love me, guide me, and are there for me 24/7, so I will do the same for them. I\'m not perfect but, I\'m trying my best to return to my Heavenly Father and be able to look him in the eyes without feeling too ashamed of my doings in this life. People will be afraid and they will chastize and judge you but, will that matter in the end? Bottom line, Heavenly Father loves you because he\'s your father, not because of what religion you choose to worship him by. If you still need guidance, just pray and he will always answer.....the answer may not come quickly, or be what you expect but, it will be the right one. Love, forgive, and serve....
