Comment in question as mentioned as mentioned, it depends on the individual. We are encouraged to date people who are in our own religion, but I know lots and lots of people who are mormons and have dated people of other faiths. I believe we are encouraged to date members for moral safety reasons, but I don't believe the church has ever come out with a hard and fast rule. You'll just have to ask. Good luck.
