Someone who studies the old and new testaments of the Christian Bible will develop an understanding of what it takes to be obedient to God, according to that Bible (e.g., love your neighbor, believe in Jesus, etc.).
The Mormon Bible is said to contain a later revelation from God. Can you give me an example of any additional requirements for obedience by God that are revealed in the Mormon Bible that would not be found in the Christian Bible?
Stated differently, if a person has satisfied the requirements for salvation, as provided in the Christian Bible, do the Mormons consider him to be saved? If not, why not?
Stated still another way, why did God feel it necessary to provide a later revelation? In what way was the earlier revelation deficient?
